Mr. John Dillard Kendrick, Sr.

Mr. John Dillard Kendrick, Sr., age 76, passed away Friday, November 28, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

A memorial gathering will be held 6:00pm - 8:00pm Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at George Brothers Funeral Service.

Mr. Kendrick was born in Rockingham County, NC to the late Lennis and Clara Williams Kendrick. He retired from Ansco & Associates, after thirty-three years of service, as a backhoe operator.  He loved being outside enjoying the nature that God has as provided.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, of thirty-four years, Franki Paul Kendrick.

John is survived by his children John Kendrick, Jr. and Elizabeth Spears (Jacob); sister Virginia Spears; brothers David Kendrick (Jennifer), Lennis Kendrick (Jessie) and Jerry Kendrick (Carolyn); grandchildren Austin Kendrick and Shyann Logan; great-grandchildren Issac, Daniel, and Carmin Logan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the charity of one’s choice.
