Mr. Kenneth Dale Green, Sr.

Mr. Kenneth Dale Green, Sr., a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, went home to his Heavenly Father on Thursday July 2, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

 The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00pm Sunday at Central Baptist Church in Oak Ridge followed by a funeral service at 3:00 pm. Burial will be a private graveside service.

 Mr. Green was born in Burke county to the late John and Aline Smith Green. He was a member of Central Baptist Church of Oak Ridge, NC, a lifetime  member of the  Loyal Order of the Moose  Lodge#  685, and was the owner /operator of Renee’s Nursery School, for 45 years, located on  High Point Rd. in Greensboro.  He enjoyed fishing, singing, and spending time with his family and friends.  He was loved by all, because of his kindness to everyone.

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers John T. Green and Ralph H. Green.

 Kenneth is survived by his wife of 59 years Shelia Green; children Martha G. Clark, Sharon G. McGinnis and husband Randy, Denise G. Greer and husband Richard, Renee G. Hatton and husband Jimmy, and Kenneth Dale Green, Jr. and wife Cindy.  Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren, and was loved by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
