Mr. Jones was born to his late parents Esther and Jack Jones. He was a member of the first graduating class of Southeast Guilford High School and was a United States Army veteran having served in the Vietnam War. He retired from UPS where he earned a Two Million Mile award for safe driving and went by the nickname “Scarecrow” on the cb radio. After retiring, Ken owned as many as twenty Beagles that he loved to enter in field trials. He eventually went on to become a Field Trial Judge for AKC Brace Beagling. His other passion was trading, which began with marbles when he was young and tools in his later years. There was nothing he wouldn’t buy and sell.
