Mr. Randy Lynn Wyrick

Mr. Randy Lynn Wyrick, age 65, passed away Friday, January 2, 2026, at his residence.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00pm Saturday January 10, 2026, at George Brothers Funeral Service.  The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00pm on Saturday at the funeral home.

A native of Guilford County, Randy was born to his surviving mother Edna Poole Townson and his late father Harold Dean Wyrick. He was a simple and hardworking man, who enjoyed being around family and friends. Being an avid sports fan, Randy enjoyed cheering on his Duke Blue Devil Basketball team, Green Bay Packers football team and watching NASCAR on Sunday afternoon. His most pride and joy was his canine companion “Duke”.

In addition to his father, Randy was preceded in death by his brother Gene Wyrick; stepfather Frank Townson; stepbrother Dwayne Townson.

Along with his loving mother Edna Townson, Randy is survived by his brothers Gary Wyrick, and Roger Wyrick; stepsister Rhonda Snodgrass (Tom); stepbrother Brian Townson (Cynthia); niece Norma Jean McAdoo (Tommy Craig) ; great niece Kali McAdoo.
