In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Ronald E. Player, Jr., and brother Jim Player.
Ronald is survived by his loving wife, of thirty-nine years, Deborah Player; daughter Jennifer Williams; son Joseph R. Player (fiancé Melissa); grandchildren Trey Lakey, Makayla Wilson, and Hannah Williams; sisters Elaine Morgan and Bet Moody; brothers Tom Player and Bob Player.
