Mr. Timothy "Tim" Sharpe

Mr. Timothy “Tim” Sharpe, 73, of Greensboro, passed into the presence of our Lord on Monday June 10, 2024.

The funeral service will be officiated by Rev. J.R. Gossett and will be held 11:00am Thursday, June 13, at Community Baptist Church, 1330 Burnetts Chapel Road, Greensboro where Tim was an active member, serving as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher. A burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.

Tim was born in Guilford County, to the late George and Sara Sharpe.  He was employed for many years in the insurance and automobile sales businesses, retiring from Guilford County Schools.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Christy.

Tim is survived by his wife, of fifty-four years, Anita; son, Chris (Alicia); grandchildren, Laurin (Logan) Crowell, Hope, Stephen and Allie Sharpe; brothers Gary (Mary) Sharpe and John (Ginger) Sharpe; special niece, Lacee Musgrove and many other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC or Community Baptist Church.
