Mr. Walter "Dubby" Ruffin Brown, Jr.

Walter “Dubby” R. Brown passed away August 21st, 2024 with his wife Patsy of 57 years and his daughter Carolyn by his side.

 A graveside service will be held Monday, August 26th at 11:00 am at Guilford Memorial Park.

Dubby was born September 19th,1948 to Lucille Brown and Dub Brown. In addition to his father, he was preceded in his death by his daughter, Laurie Brown and his brother Barry Brown.

Those left to cherish his memory is his wife Patsy, Daughter Carolyn Barskevicius (Marius), son Mitchell Brown, Mother Lucille Brown, five Grandchildren, and 4 Great Grandchildren.

Dubby was a hard worker, very adventurous and enjoyed doing things outside, whether riding his horse, motorcycle, hunting, and working on the farm. When at home, his favorite show Gunsmoke was always playing on the TV and looking for the next piece of his wife’s chocolate pie.

 He is now in the presence of his beloved daughter, brother, and his father.
