Alice L. Cooke, 89, passed away on February 1, 2019 at Beacon Place where she was a legend - having volunteered with Hospice of Greensboro from its very beginning for over 26 years. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Roger T. Cooke, Sr, her son Roger T. Cooke, Jr, her daughter Jeanne Omisore, her grandchildren Anthony Omisore and Mariah Cooke, her great-grandson Alec McCurdy, her second set of children, Michael Stephenson and Cindy Landwehrmann, Her wish was to be honored and remembered by donations to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro. Right to the end, she did it her way.
