Mrs. Barbara Wyatt Obituary

Mrs. Barbara Jenkins Wyatt, age 73, passed away Sunday June 3, 2018 at Wesley Long Hospital.

A funeral service will be 6:00 pm Friday at George Brothers Funeral Service. The family will receive friends following the service.  Burial will follow 11:00 am Saturday at Clontz Family Cemetery, in the Churchland Community of Davidson county.

Mrs. Wyatt was born in Princess Ann County, Virginia to the late William and Nellie Morse Jenkins, Sr.  She was a member of Revelation Tabernacle Church in Asheboro.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, two brothers, and three grandchildren.

She is survived by her children William Lacy “Buzz” Wyatt, III and wife Laurie of Seagrove, Tony Wayne Wyatt, Sr. of Franklinville, Jo Anne Wyatt Bristow and fiancé Richard Van Bolling of Leland, NC, and Wendy Wyatt Calderon and fiancé Samuel Cromer of Climax; sister Audrey “Podgy” Clifton; twin-brother William “Billy” Randolph Jenkins, Jr.  Also surviving are eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to COPD Foundation 3300 Ponce De Leon Blvd, Miami, FL 33134, or to the American Cancer Society 7027 Albert Pick Rd, Greensboro, NC 27409.
