Mrs. Catherine Wallace Rasche

Catherine Wallace Rasche, “Granny”, 95, transitioned from this temporary home to her permanent home with her Savior on July 2, 2021.  She was born in Guilford County on August 21, 1925, to Jesse C. Wallace and Catherine Alice Patrick.

Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her daughter Cathy R. Fisher, sister, Audrey Presnell, brothers Doug and Jimmy Wallace, and her former husband Frank O. Rasche.  She is survived by her son Michael Rasche (Jackie), grandchildren Joel Jones (Megan) and Misty Rasche (Kevin); step grandchildren Janna Rider-Berggren (Brian), Amanda Hinkle (Marc), nine great-grandchildren, sister Carolyn Melvin, nieces, and nephews.

Catherine attended Hinshaw Methodist Church and she was loyal supporter of our veterans and the Fellowship of Christians and Jews.  She was retired from Sears Mail Order.

There will be a funeral service at George Brothers Funeral Service on Thursday, July 8th at 2:00pm.
