Mrs. Debbie Osborne Garner

Mrs. Debbie Osborne Garner, age 67, went home to her Heavenly Father on Sunday January 16, 2022, at her residence.

A funeral service will be 12:00 Noon on Friday Community Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Chris Davis and Rev. J.R. Gossett officiating the service. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am-12:00 noon in the multipurpose building of Community Baptist Church.

Debbie was born, in Guilford County, to the late Roy and Lucille Nance Osborne.  She was a 1974 graduate of Southern Guilford High School and studied early childhood education at Guilford Technical Community College.  She retired from Tabernacle United Methodist Church Child Daycare, and a faithful member of Community Baptist Church.

Debbie loved the Lord with all her heart.  She never met a stranger and had a loving and caring heart who was always willing to give a helping hand.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson Tayden Shane Locklear and brother Eddie Osborne.

She is survived by her husband of thirty-nine years Joe Garner; daughter Tia Locklear and husband Shane; brother Larry Osborne; sisters Janice Belue and Pamela Henderson; sisters-in-law Brenda Osborne and Pam Osborne; mother-in-law Betty Sue Gaines; sisters-in-law Darlene Coble and Jill Moore; brother-in-law Richard Garner and Richard Coble; several nieces and nephews.  Also surviving are her three grandchildren Dakota, Daylon, and Shania Locklear.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Community Baptist Church 1330 Burnetts Chapel Road Greensboro, North Carolina 27406.
