Mrs. Eyvonne Ledford-Dabbs, age 87, went home to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
A funeral service will be conducted at 5:00pm Monday June 29, 2026, at George Brothers Funeral Service with visitation following the service. A private family committal service will be held at Lakeview Memorial Park.
Eyvonne was born in Cumberland County to the late Jasper and Barbara Faircloth Horne. Being of a strong faith, she was a faithful member of Living Waters Baptist Church as long as her health permitted her to attend. She was employed in the family business, as a bookkeeper, at Ernie’s Machine Shop. She enjoyed many hobbies including painting pictures and portraits of family members, gardening, bowling, square dancing, and most of all spending time with her loving family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Ernest Ledford, Sr.; second husband Reedie Dabbs; grandson Brandon Ledford.
She is survived by her son Ernest Ledford, Jr. (Jennifer); grandchildren Ernest Ledford, III (Charlotte) and Sherry Gipe (Gary); great grandchildren Owen, John, Aidan, Anthony, and Hailey Love.
