Mrs. Helen Beatrice (Stanley) Snouffer

Mrs. Helen Stanley Snouffer, age 93, passed away Sunday September 11, 2022 at Beacon Place.

A memorial service will be held 4:00pm Saturday, September 17, at George Brothers Funeral Service.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Mrs. Snouffer was born, in Guilford County, to the late John and Catheren Ritter Stanley.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Snouffer, Sr; son William Snouffer, Jr; grandchildren William Jared Setzer, Victoria Lorraine Bolin, and Alexandria Corine Owens; siblings Herman Stanley, Alice Smith, Lilly-Mae Nabors, Clarence Stanley, Johnny Stanley, Lorena Murray, Bill Stanley, and Walter Stanley.

Helen was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She enjoyed spending time with her family at Oak Island, NC, and was the owner and operator of Snouffer Upholstery Company in Greensboro.

She is survived by her daughter Sonji Setzer of Greensboro; siblings Tiny Brandon and Doris Moore.  Also surviving are three grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.
