Mrs. Jean Saferight Medearis

Mrs. Jean Saferight Medearis, age 74, loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away Friday July 31, 2020 at Moses Cone Hospital.

A graveside service will be 11:00am Tuesday at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6:00pm-8:00pm Monday at George Brothers Funeral Service.

Jean was a member of Grace Baptist Church, and retired from Guilford Mills as a machine operator.

Jean is survived by her husband of 54 years Lester Medearis of Greensboro; daughters Dawn Kendrick (Tim) and Lisa Hilliard; sister Ruth Williams; brothers Bobby, Norman, and Glenn Saferight.  Also surviving are, her pride and joy,  six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, who she loved and could not see enough of.
