Mrs. Peggy Cooper Keating

Peggy Keating was a caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who is one of God’s kindest souls. She was born on May 27, 1928; living her entire life of almost 93 years in Greensboro, North Carolina.

After retiring from Cone Mills, Peggy devoted her compassion for people and her loving heart to caregiving. Her battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed her courage in facing life’s challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Peggy stayed strong until her passing. She has gone to rest with her Lord, mother Cora Cooper, and father Joseph (Newbern) Cooper.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 from 1-2 PM at George Brothers Funeral Service followed by the funeral at 2:00 PM. Burial will be at Lakeview Memorial Park following the service.
