Mrs. Shirley Irene (Stack) Maness

Mrs. Shirley Irene Stack Maness, age 88, passed away Monday May 13, 2024, at Beacon Place, surrounded by her loving family.

The family will receive friends from 1:30pm-2:30pm Tuesday May 21, 2024, at George Brothers Funeral Service followed by a 3:00pm graveside service at Guilford Memorial Park.

Mrs. Maness was a kind and loving person who always put others before herself. She shared her love for others by giving of her time, talents, and cooking meals.  She was a charter member of Victory Baptist Church and retired from Vanity Fair Company with over thirty-eight years of service.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Thomas Maness, Sr; mother Mable Grace Stack; daughter Teresa Norris.

Shirley is survived by her children Ray Thomas Maness, Jr. and daughter Sandy Whitesell and husband Charlie.  Also surviving are five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
