Mrs. Thelma Craven Hodgin

Mrs. Thelma Craven Hodgin, age 96, went home to her Heavenly Father on Sunday April 24, 2022 in Hurdle Mills, North Carolina.

A celebration of life service will be held 2:00pm Sunday at Community Baptist Church with a time of visitation following the service, in the church fellowship hall.

Mrs. Hodgin was born, in Randolph County, to the late John and Treva Davis Craven.  She was a longtime member of Community Baptist Church, where she served as the church custodian for thirty years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of thirty-eight years Edgar Lacy Hodgin; sons Ronald Stephen Hodgin and Larry James Burton; sister Edna Brown; brothers Billy Craven and Robert Craven.

She is survived by her children Doyle Hodgin (Mary) and Lora Hodgin all of Hurdle Mills, NC; sister Betsy Wood (Thel) of High Point.  Also surviving are many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
