Mrs. Vernice Hamby Fuller

Mrs. Vernice Hamby Fuller, 98, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at George Brothers Funeral Service, with burial to follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm - 2:00pm Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Fuller was born in Greenville County, SC, to the late Willie Austin Hamby and Mamie Alice Hill Hamby. A woman of strong faith, she was a faithful member of Faithway Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Fuller; her sisters, Willie Mae Cooper, Pauline Mills, and Eunice Long; and her brothers, Carl Hamby, Claude Hamby, Charles Hamby, and Bobby Hamby.

Mrs. Fuller is survived by her children, Tony Fuller, Jerry Fuller, and Robert Fuller; five grandchildren; and multiple great-grandchildren.
