Nancy (Doyle) Hicks

Nancy Hicks, 85, passed away at Beacon Place from a battle of health issues on Friday, July 12, 2024. 

Celebration of life with family and friends will be at George Brothers Funeral Home on Sunday, July 14, 2024 from 6 until 8 pm. 

She was born in Greensboro, North Carolina, in Guilford County on July 23, 1938, a daughter of late William and Ida Mae Doyle. 

Surviving are daughter Lisa Perdue (Jeff) of Greensboro and son Jimmy Doyle of Pleasant Garden.  Grandchildren Randy (Sade) and Alex Perdue, Justin Doyle, Desiray Gardner,  Laseta Kelly, and many nieces and nephews. Great-grandsons Liam and Ryver Perdue.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Teresa Lynn Bullins, William Aldridge, her soulmate, Violet Stout, her loving sister.  She loved life and lived it to the fullest.  She was a very giving person to those she loved. She loved spending time with her family.  She was a very determined and strong-willed woman. She was a trooper and did not let age or health issues slow her down.
