Nancy Peters Ware

Nancy Peters Ware, age 79, of Greensboro, NC died on May 12, 2019.  Born in Ronceverte, WV to Samuel C. Peters and June Dolan Peters.  She grew up in White Sulphur Springs, WV and moved to NC in 1967.

            She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Roy W. Ware, and her father, Samuel Peters.

            Mrs. Ware is survived by her mother, June Dolan Peters, her daughters, Julie Ware Williams (Scott) of Gibsonville, NC and Jennifer Ware Roberts (Todd) of Greensboro, NC and son, Dr. Roy W. Ware, Jr. (Karen) of Raleigh, NC.

            Also, survived by:  Grandchildren, Bradley Williams (Jennifer), Heather Cockman (Kasey), Bryce Roberts, Jessica Roberts Beres (Colt) of Greensboro, NC, Alexander and Zachary Ware, Racheal Holmes Alvey (Brandon) and Courtney Holmes of Raleigh, NC; one Great Grandchild, Noah Beres; and Sisters, Joanna Tingler (Don) of Greensboro, NC and Dr. Jana Peters (Dr. Dana Olson) of Lindside, WV.

            Mrs. Ware was a member of Fairgrove United Methodist Church.  She dedicated her life to her family and helping others, including her extended Hall Towers ceramics class family.  She will be greatly missed by all.

            A private family burial will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
