Nina Lee (May) Fowler

Mrs. Nina Lee May Fowler, of Liberty, passed away at Moses Cone Hospital on Friday evening, September 9, 2022.

A graveside service will be held at Rock Creek Baptist Church 6240 Abernathy Rd, Whitsett, NC 27377 on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 11:00am with Pastor Marvin Patterson officiating.

Nina was born to the late Charlie Lee and Mary Hamilton May. Nina was a member of Grace Baptist Church and loved attending when her health permitted. She enjoyed traveling to the beach and eating out with her family and friends. Nina always took care of everything for everybody and would not let herself become a burden on anyone. She loved holidays with her family and was a feisty woman who truly enjoyed living life. She was a very special wife, mother, grandma, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Fowler; sister, Judy Hyatt; brother-in-law, Jim Ray; and daughter-in-law Salena Cole Wilder.

She is survived by her two sons, Joel J. Wilder (Corry) of Reidsville, and Donald R. Wilder of Ramsuer; her grandchildren, Jennifer Bryant, Jacob Wilder, Donald Wilder, II, Nicholas Wilder, Dustin Wilder, and Kody Wilder; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Dyanne Ray; brother-in-law, Jimmy Hyatt; also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who adored her.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Randolph 416 Vision Dr, Asheboro, NC 27203.
