Norman Brewer Baker

Mr. Norman Brewer Baker, 69, of Greensboro, passed away July 25, 2018.

A memorial gathering will be held from 6-8:00pm Saturday at George Brothers Funeral Service.

Norman was born January 26, 1949, in Guilford County, to the late James Norman Baker and Annie Gertrude Brewer Baker. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Dax Christopher Baker and sister, Norma Ann Greer. He loved his job as a locomotive engineer for Norfolk-Southern Railway for more than 30 years.

Norman is survived by his wife, Karen Baker; his children, Eric Baker (Sarah), Bryan Baker (Nikki), Amber Waldorf, Dax Baker (Anne) and Hallie Richardson (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Addison, Emily, Brewer, Josephine, Samuel, Lucy Baker, Miranda Miller, Carson and Zoey Richardson; his great grandchildren, Athan and Tatum Miller and his siblings, James “Buddy” Baker (Carol), Becky Coble, Elwood Baker (Millie), Joe Baker (Sandy), and David Baker (Beth).
