Norman "Lee" Bridges, Jr.

Norman Lee Bridges, Jr., 53, of McLeansville, left this world unexpectedly in Cherokee, NC on September 11, 2022. For those who knew him well, he definitely passed away in his “happy place”.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday at George Brothers Funeral Service. The burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Lee was born in Guilford County on December 14, 1968, to the late Patsy Jean Rose Bridges.  He was employed with Guilford County Schools where he was a maintenance supervisor. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan who also loved going to Cherokee, buying lottery tickets, NASCAR and golf. In his younger years, he was a volunteer firefighter with the McLeansville Fire Department.

Lee is survived by his daughter, Lexi Bridges; fiancé, Holly Mann and her children, Blake and Bella Mann; cousins, Melanie Vanada (Erik) and Peyton Vanada; uncle, Jim Deel; aunts, Wanda Rose and Jewel Rose and several cousins that he loved dearly.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
