Oddie Edward Watkins

Oddie Edward Watkins, 82, of McLeansville passed away Monday, September 23, 2024 at his home.

Funeral will be 12:00 PM Friday, September 27, 2024 at Brown Summit Baptist Church with burial to follow at Lebanon Baptist Church cemetery.

Oddie was a member of Brown Summit Baptist Church. He will always be remembered as the “lawnmower man” of McLeansville.

Oddie is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Diane Watkins of the home; daughter, Michelle Watkins of Reidsville; son, Bryan Watkins of the home; grandchildren, T. C., Katie (Daniel), Chase (Forrest), Nick (Trisha); four great grandchildren, Khloe, Patience, Hadley, Oaklynn; sister, Barbara Watkins; and brothers, Ira and Ronnie Watkins.

The family will receive friends from 11-11:45 at the church prior to the service on Friday.
