Oscar Duvall Jacobs

Oscar Duvall Jacobs, 83, of Greensboro died Monday, May 14, 2018 at his residence.

Memorial service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, May 17, 2018 at George Brothers Funeral Service.

Oscar was a member of Johnson Baptist Church where he served as the key holder. He retired from Contract Service Incorporated where he operated heavy earthmoving equipment and drove a truck throughout the United States. Mr. Jacobs was a proud member of the Lumbee Indian Tribe.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Jacobs; children, Peggy Darlene Coble, Karen Jacobs Hinson (Mark), Gerald Dwayne Jacobs (Joyce), Angela Jacobs Safrit (Danny), Jeffery Dale Jacobs, and Andrea Jacobs Kern (Matt); sister, Louise Locklear; brother, Leon Jacobs; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service and other times at the home of Angela Jacobs Safrit.
