Patricia Henry Murphy, 83, of Greensboro went to be with the Lord Friday, December 20, 2024 at Hospice Home of the Piedmont in High Point.
Memorial service will be 11:00 am Saturday, December 28, 2024 at George Brothers Funeral Service with Pastor Steve Walsh officiating.
Patricia was born in Guilford County to the late Glenn and Jewel Henry. She retired from the United States Postal Service after thirty-two years of service. She was one of the first three women hired as a mail carrier. Patricia was a member of Guilford Baptist Church.
Along with her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Kahler; along with her two brothers, Mike and Rick Henry.
She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Duggins and Dawn Dowda (Travis); son, Doug Roberts (Kathy); sister, Mary Sue Coen (Jim); son-in-law, Daniel Kahler; grandchildren, Shawn and Dustin Clark, Ashland Medley, Travis Dowda Jr., Chasity Langholz, Reed Kahler, Grey Kahler, Sarah Kahler, Jasper Kahler; and nineteen great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends following the service.
