Patricia Jean (Kellam) Welchel

Patricia Jean Kellam Welchel, 84, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2025 at Clapp’s Nursing Center.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at 4:00 pm at Ebenezer Baptist Church located at 2700 W. Vandalia Rd. Greensboro, NC 27407 with Pastor Howard Woods officiating.

Ms. Welchel was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and was loved by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Essie Kellam; brothers, James Kellam, Jr. and Billy Kellam; sisters, Bessie Oakley, Lilly Faircloth, Gracie Oliver, and Gladys Trotter; and her beloved dog, “BlackEyes”.

She is survived by her sister, Lorene Behling; nephew, Albert Behling; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends whom she loved.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be left to Ebenezer Baptist Church in honor of Ms. Welchel.
