Pattie Sue (Price) Smith

Pattie Sue Smith, 65, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Moses Cone Hospital with her loving family by her side.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm Friday, November 10, 2023, at George Brothers Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.

Pattie was born in Guilford County to the late Garth Elmore Price and Christine Eanes Booker. Her character was one of compassion, endurance, and grace. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, cousin, and friend who cared for her family in every way. She lovingly cared for her son, Allen, for 35 years, and she previously worked for Winn-Dixie. Pattie was known for her humble spirit, never having a negative word to say. Her presence will be greatly missed by all who knew and cherished her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Billy Wayne Booker and her step-father John Walter Booker.

Pattie is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Stephen Allen Smith; son, David Allen Smith; siblings, Judy McClenny, JoAnne Smith (Vernon), Sara Simmons, and Steve Booker (Barbara); sister-in-law Brenda Booker; also surviving are many cousins, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
