Pedro Juelez Mora

Pedro Juelez Mora, age 12, passed away May 10, 2023 at Moses Cone Hospital.

A memorial mass will be held 10:30 am Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Pedro was born in Newark, New York to Pedro Mora Ibarra and Casey Mora. He was a fifth grader at Simkims Elementary School in Greensboro and attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He was a sweet and loving child and was very gentle and loving.

 He always enjoyed playing Minecraft, Roblox and loved to build with his Legos with his brothers and sister. He enjoyed coloring pictures, going to the beach, and picking up shells with his family. He enjoyed all his Disney movies and going to the theater and watching movies while eating a half bucket of popcorn. He always had a smile on his face that would light up the room and loved his cheese pizza and always had a sweat tea addiction that would get him through the school day where he had a special bond with of his teachers.

Pedro was preceded in death by his brothers Tiego, Cruzito, and Emari Mora; grandmother Jane Perkins and grandfather Richard Perkins.

In addition to his parents Casey and Pedro and stepfather Leobardo Rios Gonzalez, he is survived by his siblings Sethe Mora (11), Gianna Mora (5), Azrael Mora (2); grandparents Teresa Ibarra and Mauro Mora.

The family will receive friends following the service.
