Peggy Jeanene (Kennedy) Dahdah

Peggy Jeanene “Doodle” Kennedy Dahdah, 65, of Greensboro, NC passed peacefully at home the morning of November 6, 2025. Peggy was born September 23, 1960 in Guilford County, the eldest child of the late Raymond Eugene Kennedy, Sr. and Peggy Irene Jones Kennedy.

Lovingly known as “Doodle” to friends and family, the nickname tells of her playful nature. Though pain colored her experience of life, Doodle’s light remained. She delighted in boisterous laughter, any and all animals, a complete set of tools, the seed pod fallen from the nearest steadfast tree, and a Virginia Slim 120 (later Lucky Strike Red 100).

She is preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Irene Kennedy Solomon, her daughter-in-law, Jessica Marie Solomon, her daughter, Jennifer Leigh Ingold, her sister, Dorothy Marie “Reedy” Hammonds Gilliland and her father Raymond Eugene Kennedy, Sr.

She is survived by her children, Tina Michelle Ingold Stewart (William “Stew”), Joshua Daniel Solomon, Sr., Leon Everette Caddell, Samira Jeanene Dahdah, and Isaiah Hom Lotakhoon; grandchildren, Rachel Nicole Hill (Dustin), Jacob Stewart, Joseph Stewart, Gabriel Stewart, Jesslyn Aaron Solomon, Joshua Daniel Solomon, Jr.; siblings, Raymond “Big Rick” Kennedy, Jr. (Wanda), James “Jamey” Kennedy (Christine), Terry “Big T” Kennedy (Mary), Rory Fitzgerald (Michele), and Barry Solomon (Amanda); and great-grandchildren Dustin Hill and Ava Hill.

There will be a private viewing for family Friday, November 7th at George Brother’s Funeral Home.
