Peggy Jean (Holmes) Simpson

Our beloved loving mother went to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior, and husband Randall.

Preceded in death, her father and mother and two sisters.

She was a long time charter member of Pleasant Garden Baptist Church. She had been a long time member of the Faith Sunday School Class, and had held several positions in the church and taught many the plan of salvation to accept Jesus Christ as Lord of their lives.

Survivors include her children, Kimberly Sizemore (Chris) and Tim Simpson (Betsy); her grandchildren, Brian Bailey, Shannon Bowers (Daniel), and Allison Simpson; great grandchildren, Brooke Webb (Sierra), David Fisher, Kiley Bowers, Kira Bailey and Jordann Bailey; and great, great grandchild Wyatt.

Many thanks to all her caregivers. Also, a special thanks to Carolyn Maiden, Paula York, Megan Demis, and Patsy Helms who helped with her final journey in life.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at 2:00pm at Pleasant Garden Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Barrett and Rev. Robert Hefner officiating. Burial will follow at Gilmore Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm at the church prior to the service.
