Prentiss "Steven" Freeman

Mr. Prentiss “Steven” Freeman, age 70, passed away Thursday February 12, 2021 at Moses Cone Hospital.

A memorial service will be 6:00pm Monday at George Brothers Funeral Service.  The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the home of Stephanie & Dean Smith.

Steven was born, in Cumberland county, to the late Prentiss David “PD” and Edna Morrison Freeman.  He was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church and was a former employee of Bristol Myers Convatec and Guilford Mills.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years Lynn Perrett Freeman , formerly of New Orleans, of Greensboro; children Stephanie Smith (Dean), Angela Stewart (Frank), Allison Freeman, and Tate Pinnix (Savannah); sisters Gail Muller and Renee Blackman. Also surviving are his grandchildren Caleb, Cali, Rebekah, Jessica, and Steven; great-grandchild Ember.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the donor’s choice.
