Rachel (Priddy) Martin

Mary “Rachel” Priddy Martin, 79, went home to be with her Lord, and her daughter, Kelli, Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Beacon Place.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Southside Baptist Church.  A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, June 6, 2022 at Guilford Memorial Park.

Mrs. Martin was born October 13, 1942 in Guilford County to the late Theodore Priddy and Ruth Cranford.  She retired from Brown Investment Properties after 20 years of employment.  She was an active member of Southside Baptist Church for over 55 years.  Most notably, she was a devoted spouse, loving mother, and proud grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kelli Martin Weske.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jerry Martin; son, Jeffrey Martin; son-in-law, Chris Weske (Jeni); grandchildren, Ashley Martin Vogler (Brandon), Evan Weske, and Arwen Weske. 

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 pm on Sunday prior to the service at Southside Baptist Church.
