On Thursday morning, October 29, 2020, Ralph Conrad Williford, 87, heard the welcome words of his Lord and Savior, "Well done good and faithful servant, enter now into the joys of thy Lord.”
There will be a service of worship celebrating Conrad’s life and ministry at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Calvary Baptist Church, McLeansville, NC. (The service will be shared live on the Calvary Baptist Facebook page – https://facebook.com/calvarymcleansville.)
A guest book will be available for signing during the viewing which will beheld one hour prior to the service at the church on Sunday.
Conrad was born December 9, 1932 in Durham, NC and was the son of the late Lloyd Vernon Williford and the late Ruth (Fisher) Williford. He was preceded in death by his brothers Charles Williford and Craig Williford.
Conrad attended Free Will Baptist Bible College in Nashville, TN and was ordained into the ministry in 1953. In August of 1987 he earned his Doctor of Ministry degree from Covington Theological Seminary.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 67 years, Lorene (Bowman) Williford; his daughter and son-in-law, Sheryl and Dan McKenney and his son and daughter-in-law Mark and Ginny Williford; his grandchildren, Justin Wall, Robbie Williford (Portia),Jaron Williford (Arielle), Dylan Williford, and Kara McCall (Jacob); and his great-grandchildren Kourtney Wall, Rebecca Wall, Ayden Wolford, Hudson Williford, Ashton McCall, Logan Williford, and Josephina Williford.
Conrad will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband and a true man of God who cared about the eternal destiny of everyone he met. He faithfully served the Lord as a minister for over 50 years and pastored churches in Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia.
