Regina Lea Shelton

Regina Lea Shelton, a beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2024. She is now with her Lord and Savior. She is known for her great love of family and friends. Regina was born on November 2, 1958 and lived in Greensboro, NC.

Gina had a passion for animals and loved her pets deeply, especially her dog Toby.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Jim Whorton; parents: Thelma and Ernest Shelton; siblings: Donald Shelton, Gary Shelton, Dale Shelton, Annette Mayo, and Terry Shelton.

She is survived by her sister, Janice Shelton Edwards; her brother, Eldon Shelton and wife Vickie; and many nieces and nephews whom she adored.

Gina's love will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in the peaceful arms of Jesus in her new heavenly home.

A Celebration of Life will be 3:00 PM Friday, May 3, 2024 at George Brothers Funeral Service officiated by Rev. Randall Smith. The family will receive friends at 2-3 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.
