Renee Roberts

Renee Roberts, age 52, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, April 16, 2023, at Welker’s Crossroads Church with Rev. John Phillips officiating the service.  A burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. Renee will lie in state one hour prior to the service time.

Renee was born in Guilford County and had a contagious smile that would light up the whole world.  She never let her disabilities hold her back and was an inspiration to all who knew her. She had a strong work ethic at home and at work and was an Elvis Presley fan. She was a 1989 graduate of Southeast Guilford High School, a faithful employee of Food Lion for over thirty years and attended Welker’s Crossroad Church in Julian.

She was preceded in death by her grandparent Percy and Florence Roberts and Horace and Carrie Greeson.

She is survived by her parents David and Faye Greeson Roberts; “Favorite Sister” Bridget Roberts; uncle Calvin Greeson who absolutely adored Renee.  Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
