Richard "Dick" L. Wrenn

Richard “Dick” L. Wrenn, 81, passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021, at Moses Cone Hospital after a period of declining health.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Tabernacle UMC with Pastor John Woods officiating. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.

Dick was born in Greensboro, North Carolina, on December 5, 1939, to the late Tim and Ethel Heath Wrenn. He was preceded in death by his son Eric Wrenn.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Margee Wrenn; sons, Dicky and Tim Wrenn; grandchildren Hayley and Heath; four great-grandchildren; as well as many friends whom he loved.

Dick was a proud veteran who served his country in the United States Marine Corps, a longtime member of Tabernacle UMC, and owner and operator of Wrenn Electric Company, Inc.  He was a kind and outgoing friend, always known for his honesty and integrity, and had a gift for sharing entertaining stories.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday at the church from 1:00 – 2:00 prior to the service.
