Robert Lee Talbott

Mr. Robert Lee Talbott, 85, of Greensboro, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on November 3, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at South Elm Street Baptist Church, with Dr. Lawrence Clapp officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the church beginning at 12:30. The burial will follow the funeral service at Guilford Memorial Park.

Mr. Talbott was born in Rockingham County to the late Daniel and Corinna Pulliam Talbott. He was a member of South Elm Street Baptist Church and retired as Captain from the Greensboro Police Department after thirty-five years of service.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Mary F. Talbott; his two daughters, Deborah Talbott and Katherine Talbott; grandchildren, Justin Hargett, Sarah Hargett, Kelsey Hargett and Kassidy Hargett; his two great grandchildren, Sophia Hargett and Grayson Hargett and his brother, Donald Talbott.
