Roger A. Williamson

Roger A. Williamson, 77, passed into the arms of Jesus, our Savior, on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 before sunrise at Hospice of Greensboro’s Beacon Place.

Memorial service will be 3:00 PM Sunday, October 13, 2019 at George Brothers Funeral Service with Pastor Jerry Walker officiating.

Roger was a native of Guilford county, NC. He was employed with Boiler Masters, Inc. for many years where he will be dearly missed.

When my daddy and my children’s grandfather was ushered into the arms of Jesus this morning, Scripture was being read and hymns were being sung. We truly believe the cardinals that came to his door moments before his passing, were the angels that bore him away to his Savior and to the blessed promise of our Heaven land. His pain is gone, he is praising Jesus, he is at peace and rest...the promises of healing, wholeness, salvation, and eternity have been fulfilled.

Roger is survived by his cherished daughter, Annette W. Stewart; and his beloved grandchildren, Monique and Nicholas.

The family will receive friends from 2-2:45 PM Sunday, October 13, 2019 at the funeral home prior to the service.
