Roger Lee Holder

Roger Lee Holder, 80, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at his residence.

A memorial gathering will be held from 1-2 pm on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at George Brothers Funeral Service.

Roger was born November 5,1944 in Virginia.  He retired from Guilford County Schools after over 30 years of service.  He loved fishing, playing the lottery, and tinkering with old cars.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Roxie Holder.

Roger is survived by his loving companion of 45 years, Linda Mackie; five children; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; cousin, John Doug; and best friend, Leonard Gerringer.
