Roger Ray Hunt

Roger Ray Hunt, 69, of Greensboro died Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at his home

Memorial service will be 7:00 PM Saturday, April 29, 2023 at George Brothers Funeral Service.

Roger was a native of Robeson County. He was a roofer here in Greensboro. Roger loved NASCAR, wrestling, and was a great pool player.

Roger was loved by so many, had a wonderful work ethic, and was grateful for life in general.

He is preceded in death by a son, Roger Jordan Hunt; and siblings, Adnell Hunt, Buddy Hunt, and Rena Locklear.

Roger is survived by his daughters, Victoria Leavell of Hope Mills, Sidney Hunt of Fayetteville, and Latonya Smith also of Hope Mills; special daughters, Shekhan Jacobs, Tiffany Deal, and Dekellia Oxendine; fourteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; siblings, Minnie Burgess of Florida, Thomas Ray Hunt (Victoria) of Summerfield, Gaynell Spaulding (Maryland) and Faye Spaulding, both of Lumberton, and Ledger Hunt of Fairmont; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6-7 pm Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
