Rufina Concho Locklear

Rufina Concho Locklear, 79, of Greensboro, passed away on August 13, 2024.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, August 19, 2024, at George Brothers Funeral Service with Pastor Ryan Sims officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home immediately following the service.

Rufina was born on September 23, 1944, in Mexico to her late parents, Jose Felix Concho, Sr. and Maria DeJesus Arteaga. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Horace “Harris” Locklear, Sr.; brothers, Isidro “Chilo” Concho, Baudilo Concho and Amado Concho and her sister, Amalia Concho Soltero.

Rufina is survived by her children, Harris Locklear, Jr., Norma Jackson (Eulias Jackson, III) and Esther Locklear (fiancé, Walter Donnell, Jr.); grandchildren, Darren Jackson, Ragine Jackson, Jasmine Jackson, Aaron Jackson, Marissa Wooten and Vanessa Johnson; great grandchildren, Darren “Junior” Martin Jackson, II, Tyler “Ace” Mycheals Neal and Elias Kobe Jackson; brothers, Jose Felix Concho, Jr. (Maria Esther Concho) and Mateo Concho and many other loving extended family and friends.
