Sarah Jane (Poe) "Fuzzy" Craven

Sarah Poe “Fuzzy” Craven, 83, of Greensboro passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at Concord Friends Meeting with Rev. Greg Creed officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

Sarah was born in Guilford County on March 16, 1943 to George and Elen Poe. Sarah retired from Sears and continued to work at Citi Customer Service accounts. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and she especially loved spending time with family.

Sarah is survived by her daughter, Barbara Anderson (Delmas); grandchildren, Stephen Anderson (Nelia) and Sarah Redmon (Cody); great grandchildren, Jenna Anderson, Daniel Galione, and Jacob Galiobne; and sister, Marie Beverly (John) of Michigan.
