Scott Daniel Keen, 45, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 2:00 pm at George Brothers Funeral Service. A graveside service will follow at 3:30 pm at Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery in Franklinville, NC. The family will receive friends from 1-1:45 pm, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Scott was born March 8, 1975 in Guilford County and graduated from McIver Education Center where he played on the basketball team. He was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church and the Methodist Men’s Club. Scott was active in Life Span, enjoyed riding horses with Horse Power and Horse Friends, participated in golf with Special Olympics, volunteered with meals on wheels, loved rodeos and going to the movies. Anywhere Scott went, someone always knew him. Most important of all, Scott loved everyone he met.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jim Maness and his paternal grandparents, Jerry and Pat Keen.

Survivors include his mother, Diane Lindsey and husband, Ben; father, Rev. Danny Keen and wife, Shelby; brother, Adam Keen and wife, April; maternal grandmother, Marian Maness; his loving foster family for the last 18 years, James Otchere and Annette Waller and a host of other loving family members and friends.
