Sharon Denise Reece Nance

Mrs. Sharon Denise Reece Nance, 68, of McLeansville, went home to be with her Savior on July 26, 2024.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Mt. Hope United Church of Christ, 2400 Mt. Hope Church Road.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Mt. Hope United Church of Christ. The burial will follow at the church cemetery.

The family would love for everyone in attendance to be as comfortable as possible. In memory of Sharon, please feel free to dress casual and colorful.

Sharon was born in Guilford County on April 19, 1956, to the late Harold Dean Reece, Sr. and Doris Jean Greeson Reece. In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her daughter, Amber Dawn Nance and her son, Anthony Ray Nance. She was a lifelong member of Mt. Hope United Church of Christ. Sharon was retired from T. F. Farmer Company, Lorillard Tobacco Company and ShowPros after more than twenty years of service to all three companies. She loved the beach and spending time at beach music concerts with her family and friends.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 52 years, Donnie Nance; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy Martin (Joey); siblings, Pam Minor, Cynthia McGee, Harold Reece, Jr. and Timmy Reece and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Sharon to Mt. Hope United Church of Christ.
