Sherrill Fields Obituary

Sherrill Lyn Fields, 80, formerly of Greensboro, passed away at Kitty Haskins Hospice Center in Goldsboro on June 12, 2025.

She was born in Guilford County, NC to the late Roland Hoyle and Inez Newman Fields. She recently moved to Wayne County to be nearer to her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, David Chandler and wife Mary Beth and Jeff Chandler; grandchildren Tyler (Kelli), Nick, Journey (Kyle), and Lucas; great-granddaughters Parker and Peyton; and her brother Steve Fields.

At her request there will be no formal services. Please feel free to leave memories and condolences on our online tribute wall.
