Sherry Ann (Presnell) Gant

Mrs. Sherry Ann Presnell Gant, 64, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 13, 2021, at Lake Brandt Baptist Church with Pastor Randy Pearman and Pastor James Mays officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park.

Sherry was born June 1, 1956 in Roseburg, OR to the late Marshall Ray and Edna Waller Presnell. She was a member of Holland Road Baptist Church in Danville, VA and a former member of Lake Brandt Baptist Church. She retired from Murphy Traditional Academy.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Mike Gant; her son, Sam Gant and her sister, Cindy Blake and her husband Phil.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Lake Brandt Baptist Church and Thursday from 10-11, prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holland Road Baptist Church, 798 Holland Road, Danville, VA 24541.
