Mrs. Stella “Jackie” Faircloth Mabe, 88 of Greensboro went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 8, 2020 at her residence.
A private entombment will be held in Lakeview Memorial Park.
Jackie was born March 14, 1932 in Alleghany County. She faithfully attended True Light Baptist Church and Northside Baptist Church after the death of her husband.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Opal “Shorty” Mabe.
Survivors include her three daughters, Betty Mabe, Brenda Rumley (John) and Becky Holland (Jeff); three grandchildren, Jamie Booth (Rob), Morgan Payne (J.D.), Andrew Rumley (Jessica); a great grandson, A.J. Rumley, Jr.; three brothers; two sisters and special cousins, Gary and Linda Mabe.
Due to Covid 19, the family will have a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.
The family would like to say a special “Thank You” to Dr. David E. Bouska and the Hospice Northeast Team, especially Renee Smith for all of their love, care and support during Jackie’s illness.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to True Light Baptist Church, 3711 Flint Street, Greensboro, NC 27405, Hospice & Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Ave., Greensboro, NC 27405 or to Northside Baptist Church, 1100 E. Cornwallis Drive, Greensboro, NC 27405.
The family will gather at the home of John and Brenda Rumley.
