Stephen Patrick Bernard

Mr. Stephen Patrick Bernard, 75, of Greensboro, passed away on August 2, 2025.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am Friday, August 8, at New Bessemer Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church 30 minutes prior to the service.

Stephen was born on November 2, 1949, in Montpelier, Vermont to the late Robert and Shirley Bernard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sandy Bernard and his brother, Kenneth Bernard. He was a member of New Bessemer Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He was employed with Hewlett Packard for twenty-six years and with American Express for eleven years. Stephen was a veteran of the United States Army and served on the Randolph County Honor Guard and with the Greensboro American Red Cross.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Bernard; his sons, Todd Bernard and Wayne Bernard and his grandson, Max Reid Bernard.
