Susan "Flossie" Henley Greene

Susan "Flossie" Henley Greene, 53, of McLeansville passed away Saturday, March 09, 2019 at her home with her family by her side.

Funeral will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Rock Creek Baptist Church with burial to follow at the church cemetery.

Susan was a daughter, sister, wife, Momma and MawMaw, and a loyal friend to other.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Henley, a baby boy and one grandchild.

She leaves behind her husband, Dave Greene of thirty-six years of the home; son, Jason Greene (Jessica) of Randleman; daughter, Felisa Barber (Jeffrey) of McLeansville; father, Allyn Henley and wife Sharon of Climax; brothers, Ricky Henley (Marie) of Whitsett, Teddy Henley (Sandra) of Whitsett, and Jimmy Henley (Linda) of Snow Camp.

Susan also leaves grandchildren, Justen Barber, Penelope Greene, Keegan and Easton Kearns, and Zach and Noah Reid; and a host of nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at George Brothers Funeral Service and other times at the home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Rock Creek Baptist Church.

The family would like to thank the following for all the care and support given to Susan and Dave during these past seven years: Dr. Gustav Magrinat and Dr. John Moody, the staff at Cone Health Cancer Center at Wesley Long, and the staff at Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro.
